Welcome to Steve Marples Consulting

Steve is an experienced leader, with vast experience in industry and consulting.  Steve has also been a company director since 1998, where he was one of three executive directors running ASCO Group.

Steve founded Optimus Seventh Generation, a leading safety culture consultancy, back in 2003, before selling to Dekra in 2015.  

In 2015, Steve invested in two businesses and became Chairman of both.  They are OEM Group (an oilfield services company) and WhyNot Partnering (a safety culture transformation consultancy).  You can find out more about these businesses here and there are also links to their respective websites.

Steve has extensive experience as an executive coach and as a main board director and is keen to help individuals and businesses through one-to-one or team coaching or through more formal roles as a non-executive / independent director.

Since 2017, Steve has been working with WhyNot Partnering in delivering safety culture transformation projects with major clients across the UK & Ireland.
